Great school
One of the best elementary schools I ever worked with. The principal knows what she is doing. She put every kind of help in the budget and as a one on one for a half year, I saw the effectiveness of all the programs for speech, health, OT and extra one on one time take an extraordinary child in second grade who thought he was dumb and prove him wrong. He jumped in cognition and social skills in the six months I was there. Not because of me, although I enjoyed watching it happen and helping him unload his fears of inadequacy on me so I could tell him that everybody worries they are not good enough. But when a kid turns eight life becomes great. Because his brain grows and he doesn't even know it. Pretty soon words that were hard at the beginning of second grade are easy. And then he will learn harder ones all the time because he can well there was a lot more to it all than this, but I learned that patient working with ODD or ADD or what ever letters are associated with a child, pays off! Way to go Disnard Staff. You are some of the most amazing teachers I have ever met. That includes the support staff as well.
