Wonderful place to hang around
There are many advantages to being a member of the Claremont Senior Center on Acer Heights as I have discovered and the benefits outweigh the annual fee that allows access to the activities and programs available for those 55 and above. The Claremont Senior Center is bringing Seniors into the 21st Century through computer/internet capablities and the various ways to utilize them. Not only are there available computers for use but persons who are willing to assist those who are not 'computer savvy' to learn at their own pace. Not all activities are sedentary, however, as exercise programs, active games like pool, ping pong,etc. are available as are creative activities and the like, such as knitting. For those with musical skills who do not have room where they live for pianos or organs and who wish to practice and perform, a piano and an organ are available. The library has books, tapes, DVDs,etc. and a large television on which to view things......My suggestion is to come in and see for yourself. HALFORD E. JONES,member
I was there for a craft fair. Spacious, clean, full kitchen, a wonderful place! The bulletin boards were covered with flyers for things to do, dinners, trips. A very nice place.
I've only been twice but I saw it is very clean. Not much happening there as far as activities.
