More of a latin restaurant than a Mexican. Friendly staff, LARGE portions, dishes that you don't normally find. Pretty lively upstairs, we ate downstairs which was very cozy. Food quality was very good. The art, done by the owner is awesome, really good. Will be back.
Food was excellent and waitstaff was excellent, made reservations and they actually called ahead of time to advise us on a certain situation. Thank-you for keeping my reservation and redeeming yourself. I give you a A- , I look forward to our next visit.
I had the lunch special of the day which was Steak Burrito. It was very delicious and juicy. I alive hot sauce, when I asked for it they ga ve me a selection of 8 hot sauce to choose from. My favorite is the green hot sauce. The prices on the menu are reasonable. Good place to eat. Services was quick too!!
There are not many choices in the area for Mexican food. Revolution Cantina is a great place in the heart of Claremont. Parking can be hit or miss depending on the time of day you decide to visit. I have ordered from almost every area of the menu. The waitstaff is very friendly and attentive. The fresh chips and salsa are always really good. The burritos are huge, there always seems to be a flavor profile missing in them. It isn't bad, but I am always left with a feeling that there should more excitement in each bite. The side order of rice and beans are just that, on the side and nothing to get excited about. Want Mexican? Revolution Cantina will get the job done.
First time visiting and it was a great experience. The food was excellent and huge portions for the price. Definitely a new favorite.
